We alllllllll know I’m a massive Lush fan. You didn’t? Well, I am.

Love it. Love love.

Well today I want to talk about potentially one of my favourite Lush products and one that I think doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

The Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser.

I purchased this product about 4 months ago now and I can safely say, I am a convert. I bought it as I wasn’t really getting along with the Aqua Marina face cleanser (namely the smell) and so I purchased it on a bit of a whim and I’m SO glad I did!

Firstly, it smells heavenly. Like sweet popcorn. But not sickly sweet.

Secondly, it is made with polenta so it has really tiny grains in so acts as a lovely light exfoliator.

Thirdly, when you wash it off your face just feels so silky soft it’s unreal.

I can’t get enough of this product. I’ve been using it 3-4 times a week and as I’m getting closer and closer to the bottom of the pot, I know this is going to be a definite re-purchase for me.

Like most Lush cleansers, you take a a small amount in the palm of your hand, add a little water or put it straight into a wet hand and gradually mix it into a paste. The paste is just so smooth an beautiful to apply, and the small grains really feel like they clean the skin.

I’m not too sure about the actual bits of popcorn in it, I’ve tended to just pick those out, but I guess it adds to the theme… maybe.

Anyway, if you’re looking for a new exfoliating cleanser, I would definitely recommend giving it product a go. It’s all natural and cruelty free as well, so  win win in my book!

Let me know if you try it!

What are your favourite Lush products?

Hi Everyone!

Today I thought I would share a some of the home accessories I’ve bought recently for my apartment, so what better way to share than a Homeware Haul?

Oh yeah, and I kinda filmed it.

Face behind the blogger and all that.

Let me know what you think, and please give the video a thumbs up/subscribe over on YouTube if you liked it…

I’m off to have a heart attack now.

These types of posts maybe my favourite kind of posts. I love the researching, shortlisting and lusting over beautiful items for my home.

Most of the time the items I blog about unfortunately stay in that basket a little longer than I’d like and we’re then destined to be long distance lovers for eternity (or until the stock runs out), and then I cry like a heartbroken teenage girl.

However, that doesn’t mean I love them any less – and this special Autumn Edition is no exception!

Instead of focusing on a specific shop, I thought instead I would go with the Autumn Décor theme with the hope of inspiring you and your beautiful spaces to go crazy along with the rest of the internet for Autumn Mania.

I haven’t ever really gone for Autumn Décor before, and I really love the concept! Alas, my bank balance does not. But hey! I’m dreaming and you can’t stop me! There are such beautiful pieces out there that will make your space oh so cosy in no time!

Here goes…

Autumn Decor 1Autumn Decor 2 Autumn Decor 3

OMG I neeeeeed this stuff in my home! I mean, that Mason jar light?? Or that front door decal? ….just dreamy.

I found most of these items browsing on EtsyZana (I may or may not have bought that ‘baby it’s cold outside’ cushion…) and Zilvi. Have a browse and see what you can find!

What do you think of Autumn decor? Is it a yay or nay for you?

Today I thought I would review 2 of my recent purchases: the Topshop Lipsticks in Ooh La La and Rio Rio.

I haven’t really dabbled in Topshop make up before, but I recently watched a make up tutorial that convinced me to go and try their highlighter pot. Alas, my local Topshop was out of stock, but while I was browsing I convinced myself to try out a new lipstick brand.

honestly ombre

I definitely need to wear more lipsticks. I tend to get quite dry lips when I wear them so I’m always looking for a moisture rich formula without being crazy glossy.

Firstly, the packaging is just so pretty (and ‘on fleek’ I believe is the current hip phrase…? Back me up here.) it’s the prettiest rose gold colour and the contrast of the black box and white tube really appealed to me. I dunno, I like packaging. I’m the weird packaging girl who likes to buy pointless pretty things because I like the packaging. I can’t be the only one?!

I’ve actually got on with the Topshop Lipsticks surprisingly well – I like the feel of them and they’re really pigmented.

They’re probably a bit brighter than I tend to go for, but hey, I’m being brave these days.

Ooh La La

First up, Ooh La La is the lighter of the shades. It looks like quite a strong red on the colour sticker on the bottom, but actually it’s not at all red and it’s much more of an orange/peachy shade.

When I swatched it in store compared with applying it for the first time, I was a bit shocked at how neon-peach it appeared, but after blending it into my lips it’s a very pretty peach shade but buildable as well if you want a stronger lip. I tend to just blend it in with my finger to tone it down as I really like the muted down colour.

I think this is a really pretty lip shade for Autumn and will go really well with all the Autumn outfits I’ve been reviving from the depths of my wardrobe!

Rio Rio

This colour packs a punch. It’s bright, vibrant, and a gorgeous shade of red. It’s a typical pillar box red with an orange undertone, rather than a pink undertone, which is my favourite kind of red and means you get a really vibrant colour when applying.

Again, it’s a bit brighter than I would normally go for, I tend to go for darker cherry reds, but this is a really refreshing change.

I tend to wear a lot of black (like every girl ever), so I think this shade looks bad ass with an all black outfit and heels. Sandy, eat your heart out. (minus the perm).

I’m definitely going to try other shades in the Topshop range as I really like the shades, how they feel on my lips and the wearbility. I would say they definitely need to be swatched because the colours on the bottom are nothing like the actual end result!

What’s your favourite Topshop shade?
